Q: I like what I see, so what do I do now?
A: You can set up your complimentary consultation with the photographer, Monique Montoya, so that you can view her work first hand, see sample products, and have her answer questions that you might have. Just simply click on the "contact" for Monique's contact information.
Q: What days are usually open for consultations?
A: Monique tries to work around her client's schedules, but since wedding photography is her primary photographic concentration most consultations are limited to Monday - Thursday.
Q: Do I have to book my wedding at the consultation?
A: You can if you like, but it is up to you. There is no obligation for you to book your wedding with Perspectives. The consultation is just a way for you to get to meet Monique and get a sense for what she does and how she works.

Q: What can I expect at my engagement session?
A: All sessions are done on location. So you will work with Monique on finding a location that suits you. There are no time limits to a session, since Monique understand that not everyone is comfortable in front of a camera (which is why she stays behind it). She will work with you and make sure the day is fun, relaxed and enjoyable. Monique's goal is to capture real people in love with an artistic twist.
Q: Should I bring anything to the session?
A: Clothing options are always good to have, so don't be afraid to bring more than just one outfit. Snacks and water are always good too.
Q: What should I wear to an engagement session?
A: Vibrant colors always work nicely photographically, but make sure it is not overwhelming. If you are afraid of color, then blacks and whites work well too. Keep your clothing simple and try to get pieces that are solid and not full of different patterns. You want the focus to be on you, not your clothing. Also, make sure that it fits the location you and Monique have chosen. Finally, make sure the clothing fits you and is comfortable to wear. If you are not comfortable with what you have on it will show in your images.
Q: What can I expect at my bridal session?
A: Most sessions are done on location. So you will work with Monique to find a location that suits you. There is no set time limit for your session. She will work with you and make sure the day is fun, relaxed and enjoyable.
Q: When should I schedule my bridal session?
A: Your bridal session should be scheduled no later than one month in advanced. This will allow time to get your dress cleaned after the session and give Monique enough turn around time for your prints.
Q: Why would my dress need to be cleaned?
A: We take several precautions to keep your dress as clean as possible, but there is always that possibility that the bottom of the dress will get dirty during the session.
Q: How necessary is a bridal session?
A: Well it all depends on your point view. Besides having a chance to wear your gown more than once and get beautiful photographs made of you, it is also a great way to do a trial run for your makeup and hair and see everything put together before your wedding day. That way there won't be any surprises and any changes can be made ahead of time.
Q: How long will it take for me to see my photographs?
There is usually a two to three week turnround on engagement and bridal sessions when it comes to posting your pictures on your personal on-line gallery. Once you select the prints you would like made, it will take two to three weeks to get them ordered and delivered.
